Terms of Service - BioMatrimony

1. Service and acceptance

By using BioMatrimony, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. BioMatrimony provides guided forms, marriage biodata templates, browser-based previews, and A4 PDF/print output. It is a document-making service, not a matchmaking, identity-verification, background-check, or marriage-advice service.

2. Your biodata and permission

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of details you enter. Enter another person's information or photo only when you have appropriate permission. Do not use the service to impersonate, deceive, harass, discriminate unlawfully, or publish illegal or harmful material.

3. Privacy vault and recovery

Biodata contents and photos are encrypted in your browser. Guests receive an automatic key kept only in the current browser tab and are not asked for a privacy passphrase. Registered users who save biodatas must create a separate privacy passphrase and retain the recovery key.

BioMatrimony does not receive these decryption credentials and cannot bypass or reset them. A registered biodata is permanently unreadable if both its passphrase and recovery key are lost. A guest biodata becomes unreadable when its tab key is lost.

4. Accounts and guest sessions

You may start without registration. Guest access depends on the same browser tab; closing it, clearing browser data, or changing devices may make the temporary encrypted biodata unreadable. Guest biodata is scheduled for deletion after 24 hours of inactivity. Register before creating if you need recoverable, longer-term storage. Registered users are responsible for their login credentials, privacy passphrase, recovery key, devices, and activity under their account.

5. Preview, print, and payment

Prices and access periods shown at checkout apply to the selected output. Guests can purchase one output for their temporary biodata. Monthly and yearly access require a registered account so saved biodatas remain recoverable for the stated duration. Payment does not give BioMatrimony a decryption key. Your browser must still be able to unlock the biodata to preview, print, or download it.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where a verified service/payment failure qualifies under the displayed refund policy. Coupons and referral credits have no cash value, may have limits, and may be revoked for abuse, refunds, chargebacks, duplicate accounts, automation, or fraud.

6. Sharing

Public server-rendered biodata links are unavailable in strict privacy mode. You may download and share the resulting PDF directly. Once you share a PDF, the recipient may save, forward, print, or copy it; BioMatrimony cannot control or revoke copies outside the service. Share only with people you trust.

7. Availability and security limits

We work to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or universally compatible operation. Browser encryption does not protect an unlocked biodata on a compromised device, from malicious extensions or malware, from someone who knows your passphrase, or from recipients of a PDF you share.

8. Templates and intellectual property

BioMatrimony's software, template designs, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your personal biodata content remains yours. We grant you a personal right to use generated documents for marriage-introduction purposes; you may not resell, scrape, clone, or redistribute the template library as a competing product.

9. Suspension, deletion, and liability

We may restrict abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, or security-threatening use. You may delete your biodata or account subject to payment, fraud-prevention, accounting, backup, and legal-retention requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioMatrimony is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost recovery credentials, inaccurate user-supplied information, recipient misuse of a shared PDF, or decisions made from a biodata.

10. Law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them when the service or law changes and will communicate material changes through the website or account email. Questions can be sent to legal@biomatrimony.com.
